Nothing is funnier than a fat man dancing. Nothing.
Original Numa Numa video
Perhaps this indisputable fact explains the success of the viral internet phenomenon video "Numa Numa," in which the obese Gary Brolsma dances to the song "Dragostea din Tei" by Romanian band O-Zone in front of a webcam.
Now, almost two years after this original video, Gary Brolsma has released a sequel.
The New Numa video
This "New Numa" is much like the original. Gary even wears the same headphones.
This new video sports much greater production values than its predecessor, yet sticks with the same basic plot. In other words, New Numa is to Numa Numa as Star Trek: The Next Generation is to Star Trek: The Original Series.
Still, Brolsma is no Captain Picard. Not only because he wears a t-shirt instead of a sweater, but also because we quickly grow bored of foolish dancing. It would be impossible for one to grow tired of Picard.
I, for one, would much rather witness an epic space battle than another video from Mr. Gary Brolsma.
The silly Russian lyrics didn't impress me. The first time I was watching, I was thinking, "Oh, okay more Romanian lyrics." Then I was listening and I realized, "Hey I can understand a bunch of this..."
