Down with trees -- up with shopping malls!

On a recent drive I passed by the most nightmarish, most vile sight I have ever laid my eyes on: an expanse of trees just sitting there, consuming valuable land which could easily have been a Wal-mart or 20 screen cineplex and parking structure.

Instead of a modern shopping marvel these so-called "trees" planted themselves in the soil. What an ugly sight. I bet those darn trees don't even have a zoning permit!

These thoughts sickened me so much I could hardly breathe. Who gave these trees the right to steal all this land? It certainly wasn't me!

My only hope is one day a group of strong men as sick to death over those foul trees as I am will rip those horrid trees down and move their ugly stumps out of sight.

It's a daunting task: trees often group and multiply illegally. But someone's got to do it.

And when we smell the fresh air inside the mall, we'll know chopping down all those distasteful trees was worth the trouble.
