The three types of authentic Mexican food
I want to bounce an idea off you guys.
Some of you (I'd rather not say who, but you know who you are) argue tirelessly that one Mexican restaurant is more "authentic" than another. It's important to get a handle on accommodating such concerns.
Let's continue, shall we? I'll take qusetions later, be a team player and try to take all this in proactively.
My market research shows there's only three Mexican food restaurants, or "taquerias" to choose from. And from my perspective they're ALL authentic! Let me elaborate on each option:
- Qdoba is pronounced que-dough-ba. I think it's Spanish for "authentic Mexican dishes" and that's their company policy too. Very authentic, you couldn't do better than this. Plus a mighty fine babe works at the one near the office.
- Taco Bell is fast, cheap, and super-authentic. Like the ads emphasize, when you go to Taco Bell you're crossing the border to a land of fine authentic Mexican cuisine!
- Chipotle's according to my friend Jacob, is owned by McDonald's, so it shouldn't count as Mexican! Now first off I'm not exploring negative comments on this issue. Second, the food burriotos taste great -- it's a total buy-in!
Well that's my competitive breakdown for you. If your analysis differs bring it up at the next meeting, but I should warn you I'm reluctant to take further action at this time
