Advertising does not belong in a film from Hollywood. I urge every one of you to avoid purchasing the 6000 SUX auto-mobile for this reason; if we let Hollywood scoundrels such as RoboCop director Paul Verhoeven off the hook on this one time, we will be setting an example for ruthless directors in the future.

Misleading and violent
From the title you may not have guessed the main character is a hideous man-machine who turns on his very creators in a fashion that can only be described as nightmarish and gruesome.

I am simply taken aback by the level of violence acceptable in modern motion-pictures. Even the most dastardly film-makers of the golden age of cinema would not have put such displeasing scenes to glorious celluloid. Leave such rubbish where it belongs: at the playhouse.

I am angered
Let me tell you, at this very moment I'm pulling out my stamps and sealing-wax and preparing a letter to the studio expressing my disapproval. Robo Cop shall not stand on the same shelf with the cine-matic treasures such as Casablanca.

I shall see to it myself. I shall burn each and every copy of this insidious film I find. And I recommend you take similar action.
