I failed to sit through Garfield: The Movie
As an older gentleman, I have much patience for even the silliest endeavors. But Garfield: The Movie tried my patience greatly.
Unlike the comic strip
Now I do not wish you to believe I dislike the sardonic and cynical Garfield comic strip, which appears in glorious black and white news-print daily around the world.
However, Garfield looks terrible in live action with a terrifying puppet-monster portraying the orange cat.
When will it end?
Henceforth I found myself desiring a tragic accident in which my eyes would be gouged out. Alas this did not happen, and most fortunately so!
I admit I left this film unfinished, choosing wisely instead to take in an entire film classics marathon on cable tele-vision.
