Do all you guys really think emo's are that bad?I'm not one(so please don't track me down and hurt me) but if they are cutting themselves maybe they need to get some help!maybe their friends(could be you)are shutting them out when they really need help.So don't diss the emo's,HELP THEM!!!!!

Not all emos cut themselves and not all cutters are emos. I'm not going to give my opinion on this because I don't want to start a fight.

There's a difference between having justification to be depressed, and being an Emo pussy.

Most emos who I know just wear lots of black makeup. They don't slit their wrists or anything. They're posers.

It's a derisive term for lounge musicians. (I have several lounge albums I've downloaded.)

At some point I decided it was a better answer for describing where I fit in in high school. (I'm not actually any sort of serious musician.)

People thought that was funny when I was in 12th grade.

Nope the best prank to pull in school came from a girl I knew.  It was Christmas 2001.  The teachers set up decorations in each wing of the school.  Well one of them happened to have a christmas tree, Frosty, snowflakes, little elves and Santa all made out of paper.  Well she decided it would be funny to burn Frosty because, lets all admit it now, he's the worst christmas character ever.  Turns out that whole wing almost burnt down.  She was sent to jail and was expelled from the school.  I laughed my ass off because our vice principal, who looked like chewbacca or however you spell his name and mind you the vp was female, made a speach of how christmas spirit was gone for good and how she wanted to make the school better by putting a memorial of Frosty right next to our 100 ft. christmas tree in the skylight cafe in our school.  It was lame as all hell.

Depression is a serious disease that, though I can't deal with it, I think people who are depressed should have some sort of help and support. I wouldn't be the one to help but...you know.
It's horrible being depressed. I speak for self-experience and it's sooo easy to fall into depression but getting back up is a total bitch. Hats off to anyone who pulled themselves up from a depressed state of mind.

I'm really upset about what the word "emo" means now. I remember when the Emo kids were the intellectual, artsy kids at school who listened to indie bands that nobody else had heard of. They were all pretty outgoing and happy (I mean, as happy as a teenager can be), from what I remember.
