Login problem (hit reload)

After I log in Demon Lime doesn't show me as logged in until I either hit reload or navigate to another page.

Is anyone else having this problem? I think it's with Firefox only.

Not really having that problem but Fiarfux has given me other issues. I want to try 2.0 but I really try to avoid beta software these days.

The test version of Demon Lime on my own server doesn't have the login issue. Hmmm...

That will make the problem a lot harder to fix.

UPDATE:

I think I figured out what caused this problem. Let me know if it's still an issue for you.

That's not a problem for me, but another one is after someone logs out, it still says they're logged in for a while.

This has only happened to me once so far.

If this happens to you again, take note of which page it was that you hit log out from.

I'm thinking this only happens if you don't log out from the home page.

^ Yes, that happens to me a lot. I usually log out on the Recent Posts page.

I find that I have to refresh once after I log in, sign out, or read new messages for new status to appear. Everything else seems to be fine for me (from what I've seen).

Is this still a problem for you? If so, which page are you logging in from?

I've found that I can't read the forums when my browser is closed and that I have to load my browser up again to get back to the forums.

Tirobir, call technical support and tell them that your ass is getting too smart and you need to dumb it down just a little.

Diptera, I'm shocked that you would even suggest that an ass could be too smart!

I am a bit of a hypocrite, for which I apologize. I usually carry an extra brain or two around with me, depending on how many I can fit in my butt cheeks.

Okay, I ain't sure if this is intended but I get logged out at home whenever I login from somewhere else. Now I could see preventing browsing from the same user id in two places simultaneously but if they're at different times then wouldn't it be more convenient for users to allow it?
