Ricard is a fucking Licorice alcohol from southern France and one needs to be crazy to drink it, especially when mixed with mint syrup, hence obtaining a Perroquet, or with almond syrup, to get a Mauresque. Simply with water, you call it a Pastis.
Anyway, they all taste like shit!
And it becomes turbid when the alcohol touches water or a mixer.
It is for that same reason that I didn't like Jägermeister.
