Last year, we had to read a poem to the class and Johnny did one about pirates. He tried to dress like one, but ended up looking nothing like a pirate. Today, as everyone was leaving school this guy pulled over to ask him why he was dressed like a pirate.
The only pirates I know are from Pittsburgh and they had a tough season again this year. In the good old times, when they had Bobby Bonilla, Barry Bonds, Andy Van Slyke, Jay Bell, etc. they used to beat the ass of the Montreal Expos which were team #2 after the Pirates, with Larry Walker, Marquis Grissom, Moises Alou, Spike Owen, Delino Deshields, Darren Fletcher, Dennis Martinez, John Wetteland, Ken Hill and others.
There was a guy in my English class today dressed like a pirate.
When I saw him at first I had no idea what was up. I thought he was trying to do some sort of nu-goth thing, but then I remembered it's Talk Like a Pirate Day, and suddenly it all made sense.
